The Inquisition has returned!

What’s in store for you this Halloween? Let the Alchemy Lab Imps and Trading Post Goblins decide! THIS is the TRICK OR TREAT INQUISITION! For $60US, you will receive a themed bath oil concocted by Black Phoenix Trading Post, a soap created in cahoots with Villainess, and a Trick or a Treat oil from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. You have a choice: let the Black Phoenix mascots determine your fate, or persuade the goblins and imps into tricking or treating you.

How do you influence the imps and goblins? You may plead your case in the comments field of your order. If you choose to leave it blank, the denizens of Black Phoenix will utilize the ancient art of sniffomancy in order to determine your fate. Time permitting, all entries will be published on the Black Phoenix Trading Post web site as they come in, unless you request otherwise. Please indicate whether you wish to remain anonymous, and if you would like your name published, how you wish for it to appear. This years Treats are all spooky-themed treats, and this years Tricks were inspired by the Scottish tradition of guising, and are named after unfriendly creatures from Scottish folklore.

A plastic Jack o’Lantern, scattered with bits of rock candy, honey taffy, butterscotch, marshmallow buttons, gumdrops, jellybeans, and bubblegum.

... you will receive a bottle of Tricksy bath oil, a bar of an t-Samhuinn soap, and one of these Black Phoenix Trick perfume oils, chosen at random:

Bogle – A garish shellycoat: red currant, Spanish mandarin, pumpkin, quince, wild blueberry, and ginger with green tea, vanilla bean, frankincense, tonka, and vetiver.
OR
Muilearteach – Blood red, bone white, and pitch black musks coated in hoarfrost.
OR
Slaugh – Champaca, black tea, tonka bean, and sassafras.

TRICKSY BATH OIL
Patchouli, aquilaria aguillocha, and Manuka honey.

AN T-SAMHUINN SOAP
Crushed East Lothian Pippin apples scattered amongst fallen leaves from dool trees, Arran Whitebeams, and Lochwood oaks.


If you purchase an Inquisition pack, you will receive a small spritzer bottle of White Pumpkin Extrait and a Wad of Chewed Up Strawberry Bubblegum (an impful!). White Pumpkin and Wad are not available separately.

You may place an order for multiple sets, or place multiple orders, and in either case, each will be considered separately in the course of the Inquisition process. If you are placing an order for more than one set, you may submit multiple Trick or Treat pleas, applicable to each order. Once your Trick or Treat status is determined, we will send you an Inquision pack that contains a perfume, a bath oil, and a soap from the category (Trick or Treat) that you were assigned to, plus Wad of Chewed Up Strawberry Bubblegum, the White Pumpkin Extrait spray, and a few little FunThings as determined by the Imps, Goblins, and Mister Tedwin. One perfume, one soap, and one bath oil will manifest per order. As a break from tradition, we will be offering some of the Trick and Treat products separately.

You have until October 10th, 2010, at which point the Imps and Goblins will retire to their conference room and cease to accept orders. Orders are in NO WAY guaranteed to arrive before Halloween, but the Trading Post worker bees will do their best. The artwork for this Trick or Treat series was created by the incomparable Julie Dillon, the labels were designed by the incredible Kira Butler, and the soaps were handcrafted by Master Soaper Brooke Stant of Villainess fame!
